Fall From The Past

Hi!  Come with me to a Blast From the Past.  Thought I would finally change my front page from Christmas to Fall! Who-hoo!   I have been away for a while with some health issues, but hope to start posting again soon.  Thanks for stopping by!

WELCOME FALL YA' ALL!

Easy, Peasy Centerpiece for Kitchen Island.

Last Years Fall Mantle

This Fall centerpiece was very easy and fast.  I placed the glass container on top
of a wooden pedestal and filled the container with coffee beans and led candle wrapped with some faux leaves.  It was then
placed on a gold "Maple Leaf" place mat that accented the gold chargers.  Next, I use some Fall garland I had on hand and wrapped it
around the base and then up and around the sides to the top.  Burlap ribbon accented the clear glass container at the base.

Fall Tablescape Redo.  Changed out white dishes with a maroon color and used white napkins as place mats set on the diagonal.  (Did you notice they match the covered parsons chairs?)   I got these at
Bed, Bath and Beyond after Christmas at a great sale price!.  I have to look back also each year
to see what I came up with. lol

Simple Fall decor to adorn kitchen table.

L.R. table Fall centerpiece (a favorite of mine).
Those coffee beans surrounding the candle smell amazing!
The maple leave place mats were from Wal-Mart.

Hope you stay tuned...I will post some Halloween decor soon!  Hope you and yours have a wonderful Fall!  I can't wait till I can get some real pumpkins.
Hope you see something to inspire you!

Many blessings,

Carol

Sharing Christmas 2014

Christmas 2014  at  Favorite  Things  Decor.

And yes this was Christmas, and Happy New Year, I hope it's a good one, without any fear.....

Silver and Gold Entryway

Close up of decorated urn accented with gold and glittering lights.

Jolly Kris Kringle

45 year old Nativity Set.  Gift from my Mom and Dad in 1968.
 Jesus is
the reason for the Season!

Angels we have heard on high!

Golden leaves and glittery gold stems were added to the greenery in
the urn and little, white lights to make it glow.

Centerpiece on the Dining Room table was very easy to do!  Filled my
antique punch bowl with greenery and garland.  Nestled one
of my golden reindeer in the center and added the lights to give it a mystical glow at night.

Added a string of colored lights and antique bubble lights to the tree this year
to change it up a bit.   Shhh! I think Santa may have fallen into the tree a little
bit this year.  (It seems to be leaning a little to the right) :)

Small lighted trees were nestled in the urns on each end of the mantle and
finished with a pretty red ribbon.

Centerpiece all lit up and ready for Santa.  It looks like an ice sculpture don't you think?

A three tier, black iron plate holder decorated the kitchen island.

I really didn't stick to one color scheme this year; no rhyme or reason....  my mind does want it wants any more :)  :)

Hope everyone had a wonderful, blessed Christmas.  God has truly blessed us this past year and we wish all of you a Happy, Healthy New Year!

Til' then,

Many Blessings,
Carol
